This beautiful Vermont greenstone was hand-collected from a cold mountain stream in the Northeast Kingdom and fully polished by StoneBorn Creations.

It shows deep forest-green and teal tones with mossy, cloud-like patterns throughout — the surface almost looks like ancient underwater terrain frozen in time. The stone has subtle mineral pockets and natural depth variations that give it a rich, organic character. Its smooth, glossy polish brings out darker emerald pools and lighter earthy hues around the edges.

A calming, grounded piece with a geometric triangular form, thick and substantial in hand, and it displays beautifully from multiple angles.

This piece is most consistent with Vermont Greenstone (metamorphosed basalt), shaped by regional metamorphism during the rise of the Green Mountains. The mottled textures and tonal shifts come from chlorite, epidote, feldspar, and other minerals interlocking under immense pressure over hundreds of millions of years.
