This one stopped me in my tracks once the polish started revealing what was hidden inside. Layers of fiery crimson, deep burgundy, soft creams, and intricate lace-like fortification banding flow across the polished face like a living landscape.

I shaped and rounded the polished side by hand while leaving the backside natural and untouched, preserving the raw character of the original stone. The contrast between the rugged natural back and the glassy polished face gives this piece a powerful balance between nature and transformation.

Worked and polished by the river on a warm day, this stone carries that entire experience within it.
