This unique Vermont river stone was carefully cut and flat polished to reveal an incredible natural interior filled with earthy ochre tones, muted green mineralization, and dramatic black streaking throughout the stone. The outside gave almost no hint of what was hidden within.

Both halves were left natural around the edges to preserve the rugged character of the original river-worn stone while showcasing the polished interior faces. The patterning almost resembles ancient brushstrokes or fossil-like textures created entirely by nature over time.
