StoneBorn Creations – Hand Polished Vermont Serpentine with Natural Mineral Veins | One-of-a-Kind Display Stone

This one was shaped and polished this afternoon in my workshop here in northern Vermont. The moment this stone hit the lap, the deep greens and natural mineral veins started to reveal themselves.

This piece has a beautiful mix of rich olive and forest green serpentine with darker inclusions and natural fracture lines that filled with iron over time, creating those earthy brown and copper tones running through the stone. When polished, these features give the stone a lot of depth and movement depending on how the light hits it.

I shaped this one to keep a natural flowing form that highlights the patterns within the stone while giving it a smooth, glassy finish.

Every piece I finish is completely one-of-a-kind and reveals millions of years of geological history hidden inside.
