StoneBorn Creations Hand-Polished Vermont Stream Stone – Possible Serpentine

Pulled by hand from a Vermont stream, this was one of those stones that became more interesting the further I worked into it.

After shaping and polishing the entire stone, a mix of soft blue-green and gray tones emerged alongside rusty iron staining and dark, wandering mineral lines. The combination gives this piece an almost weathered, map-like appearance, with something different showing from every angle.

Based on its appearance, this may be a serpentine-rich or altered metamorphic stone, possibly related to Vermont greenstone geology. Without laboratory testing, I prefer to leave the exact identification open rather than give it a name it may not belong to.

The entire stone was shaped and polished by hand in my workshop while preserving its natural character and original form.

The StoneBorn Story:

Every StoneBorn piece begins outdoors, found by hand in the streams, rivers and landscapes I explore. I bring each stone back to my workshop and work it individually, allowing its natural shape, colors and geology to guide the process.

No two stones reveal the same story, and this one was especially difficult to read until the polishing process began bringing its hidden details to the surface.

Energy & Symbolism:

Serpentine is traditionally associated with renewal, grounding and personal transformation. Because this stone has not been laboratory identified, these associations are included only as traditional symbolism rather than a definitive mineral identification.
