StoneBorn Creations – Natural Agate & Jasper Display Stone | Hand-Polished with Blue-Gray Agate Veins

This beautiful hand-polished stone features an incredible mixture of rusty oranges, golden yellows, earthy browns, and creamy whites, with delicate blue-gray agate banding running through the surface.

The stone appears to be an iron-rich jasper or silicified rock containing areas of banded chalcedony (agate). The contrasting colors and mineral patterns create an almost abstract landscape across the polished face.

One of my favorite details is the blue-gray agate running along the right side, where fine bands of chalcedony contrast with the surrounding orange and brown material.

I polished the broad, naturally curved face and portions of the sides while preserving the rugged, unpolished back. This allows you to appreciate both the original stone and the mineral patterns brought out through polishing.

A beautiful, substantial display piece with plenty of geological character.

The StoneBorn Story:

This stone had so much going on that I really wanted to see what polishing would bring out.

The orange and brown colors were already interesting, but what caught my attention was the lighter material running through the side. As I worked through the polishing stages, the blue-gray agate banding became much more noticeable against all those warmer colors.

I decided to leave the back completely natural. I like being able to turn a finished piece around and still see the rough stone it started as.

The finished result has a lot of character, especially where the different colors and mineral formations meet.
