The contrast is incredible, especially where those green veins cut directly across the warmer red areas.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe combination is very characteristic of unakite, which is an altered granitic rock typically made up of pink feldspar, quartz and green epidote.
