StoneBorn Creations Botswana Agate – Hand-Polished Natural Freeform

This Botswana agate already had a natural shape I really liked, so instead of grinding a bunch of material away, I decided to work with what was already there.

I carefully cleaned up the surface, followed the stone’s existing contours and worked through each stage before polishing the entire piece. The finished stone has beautiful tight banding that wraps around the piece, with different patterns and details showing depending on the angle.

I’m really glad I kept this one close to its original form.

This Botswana agate was one of those stones. The natural form was already part of what made it interesting, so my goal was simply to refine it, polish it and let those bands tell the rest of the story.
