One side left completely raw — exactly how it came out of the Vermont river.

The other side brought to life through polishing, revealing deep forest greens, natural gold flecking, and layered movement hidden beneath the surface.

You’re holding transformation in your hand with this one.

The contrast is what makes it special — rugged, untouched natural texture on one side… and a glassy, almost glowing finish on the other. It’s a perfect reminder of what these stones truly hold inside.

The StoneBorn Story:

This one stood out immediately for its structure, but like most river stones… it didn’t give everything away at first.

 

Instead of fully polishing it, I chose to leave one side raw to preserve its natural state — showing exactly where it started and what it became.

 

Every pass on the flat lap revealed more depth, more color, and more character hiding inside.

 

This is the kind of piece that represents the entire StoneBorn process in a single stone.
